BRUSHING MADE SIMPLE: American dentist George Christ Collis felt that normal straight-bristle toothbrushes were difficult to use for effective plaque-removal. Complicated techniques such as the 'Scrub and Roll' were hard to teach to children, and adults failed to employ them properly. Drawing his ideas from the instruments he used at work, he figured that the brush was the problem and not his patients; creating the first curved-bristle toothbrush. A simple backwards and forwards motion is all that is needed for good oral health and hygiene. BRACES, CAPS, OR CROWNS: The Collis Curve Periodontal brush is ideal for recessed gums, long or longer teeth; patients with dental appliances such as braces, caps, crowns, implants etc; and for patients who have periodontal pockets. The longer curved bristles reach gently around these hard to reach areas, and facilitate good oral health.
