Surprise yourself or your guests with this Filipino soup! The traditional food can be achieved in no time at all with the Mama Sita's soup mix, which is rich in tamarind powder. Just add meat, shrimp and vegetables and enjoy this deliciously spicy meal. Refine the soup with pineapple or mango and season it with the fish sauce. Mama Sita's guava soup mix is quick and easy to prepare and impresses with its authentic taste.

Ingredients

Ingredients: tamarind powder 20.2%, salt, acidity regulator: E330, flavour enhancer: E621, tomato powder, rice flour, cane sugar, black pepper. May contain traces of wheat, fish, peanuts, soy and milk.

Directions

(8-10 servings): Bring 2.5 litres of water to boil. Add 150 g of quartered tomatoes and 90 g of quartered onions. Simmer for 5 minutes. Add 1 bag of Mama Sita's soup mix and simmer for another 10 minutes. Add meat, shrimp or vegetables and simmer for another 10-15 minutes. Refine with pineapple or mango and season with fish sauce.
